The purpose of the HME Sales Community (HMESC) is to bring a unified approach to selling within the HME industry. HMESC will provide resources to the HME sales representative, manager and owner. The HMESC is supported by HME Sales Coaches with over 40 years of combined medical sales in HME, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, orthopedic and surgical sales.
HMESC is for sales professionals who desire to raise the standard of sales calls and invest in themselves and the company for whom they work. The HMESC is for sales professionals involved in selling Respiratory, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Complex Rehab, Orthopedics, Wound Care, Support Surfaces and sales professionals who make sales calls, both inside and outside; and for those retail professionals.
Manufacturer Sponsors are a critical element of the HMESC. A Manufacturer Sponsor will be afforded several benefits and access to members of the HMESC through their active participation in the HMESC. You can read the various resources and services offered to the HME sales professional who becomes a member of HMESC.
The “Coaches Huddle” is a monthly manufacturers’ training and education forum that will be provided by our Manufacturer Sponsors via teleconferences and other medium.
Manufacturer Sponsors will be afforded the following:

- Logo on HMESC website
- Logo on HMESC marketing collateral
- Exclusive product category to members
- Teleconferences (Educational 1,2, or 3: where the manufacturer delivers training on their product(s) and/or service(s) directly to the HME Sales Professional)
- Live Podcast sponsorship
- Product(s) and / or services BLOG (written, video, or audio)
- Membership(s) for the manufacturer sales team
